Kandice co-created the dynamic events Splurge & Girls' Night Out Shopping Extravaganza, where women can shop for everything in Beauty and Fashion while benefiting a women's charity in need. Our event has benefited domestic violence shelters, breast cancer foundations, heart disease and many other women related causes. We hope our events bring more awareness and exposure to these charities while providing some funding they need. "What’s better than women shopping to help other women! Our events are a light affaire filled with an uplifting spirit so that it can seriously help dark and (sometimes) secretive problems,” states Kandice. Kandice oversees event planning, marketing, sponsorships, special appearances and vendor relations.
Kandice has had an extraordinary life to say the least.
She grew up in Southern California and since the early age of 16
she had entrepreneurial skills which landed her at the Cannes Film
Festival before graduating high school and as the youngest female
award-winning independent producer in Hollywood of her time. Kandice produced
her first film at only 18 years of age. She produced motion
pictures for distributors like New Line Cinema, HBO, Artisan, Pioneer
and USA Network. She blazed
a trail and started
her own production
and foreign sales company, Kandice King Productions which financed more
than $15 million to produce her latest indie films.
She loved the creative process along with the constant
challenging business practices of the film industry. She was a
passionate yet tough producer. As stated in the November 2008 issue of
Entertainment Weekly, she replaced Mickey Rourke in one of her
films Luck of the Draw and it was known to sideline his career
until his comeback in The Wrestler. She
knows and has worked with the "Who's Who" of Hollywood. After
fifteen years and seven films later, Kandice left Los Angeles and
relocated to Arizona to embark on this new chapter in her life. "It's
my time to give back!"
In Los Angeles, Kandice was a member of Women in Film and now working with the beauty industry, she is pleased to be a member of CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women).

Where there is Kandice, there is her mother and best friend Cori. Cori also has motion picture experience as a production accountant working with Kandice King Productions in Los Angeles. She too relocated to Arizona and now Cori is the Beauty Gift Bag Coordinator and works with hundreds of beauty companies to oversee all of the donated products that grace our famous Beauty Gift Bag. She is a hard worker with a heart of gold!
